Whether someone on your list already has an iPhone or has one sitting under the tree this Christmas, there are plenty of great gifts under $20 for them. We have tried hundreds of different accessories for our iPhones over the years. Here’s five (and a bonus or two) that we think will be a hit this Christmas.

Have questions about what accessories or even iPhone model is right for that special someone? Feel free to leave a comment below.

1. An iPhone Case

Most people protect their expensive iPhones with a case. With millions of options out there, you are sure to find one that’s just right. Take into consideration what’s important, whether it’s protection, slimness, or prettiness, there’s one that you will fit your needs. We will recommend Dave’s favorite, the Spigen Thin Fit, which has bought for several iPhone models and is loving the black one for his new iPhone XR.

2. A Pop Socket

As our iPhones have gotten bigger over the years, pop sockets have become popular, even necessary, accessories for those looking to hold on to their phones. They attach to the back of your phone and pop out to give a natural handle for extra grip. They’re also a great way to prop up your phone on a table or desk. Amazon has a ton of options, from subtle to wild.

3. Aukey 2 Port Wall Charger

Not quite as exciting as the first two, but this one sure does come in handy. There’s a good chance that if we have one device to charge, we have two. This one is about the same size as the one that comes with the iPhone, but has two USB ports and will charge your device faster (more Watts and stuff). There’s plenty of options if you need more than two ports, but this Aukey option is a no-brainer. We have talked about this charger many times on the podcast, including our 2017 Gift Guide episode.

4. Portable Battery Packs

Also not the most dazzling gift, but we’ve all had that time when we need a little extra battery power on the go. There are tons of options from tiny to huge. Anker and Aukey are two great brands but there are other options as well. Think about who you’re buying for and how much power they might need.

5. Fugetek Selfie Stick

I know, I know “selfie sticks”, but hear me out. They really are practical, just think how many people don’t have to be inconvenienced by the awkward “will you take our photo” conversation. Not everyone needs a selfie stick, but if someone is looking for one this one is pretty amazing, it was Nate’s pick of the week back on episode 137 of the podcast.

A few bonus picks, sorry two of them aren’t quite under $20.

4″ Lightning Cable

Super short, super practical cable to keep with you all the time.

Moment Lenses

These aren’t cheap, but a great idea for a budding photographer.

Apple AirPods

If you know Notnerd, you know we love the AirPods. If someone on your list uses headphones a lot, the Holistic Cost™️ makes sense. $159 from Apple, but Costco usually has them cheaper. They’re not available on Amazon right now.
